Fruits and Veggies, good anytime

Okay, I need to be brutally honest...I actually crave vegetables! Could it be because they tend to be so much lower in carbs they were called a "free food" when I was diagnosed? Or, is it the fresh crisp taste of these plant foods? Either way you slice it, they are definitely good for you to help get those vitamins and nutrients you may be missing from other foods you eat. Fruits and vegetables help in the prevention of heart disease, some types of cancers, type 2 diabetes, and weight management. I am now adding another health benefit to the list! There is a mysterious person placing fruits and veggies in my office over the past month. Yes, they are fake fruits and vegetables, but many look so very real. So real, that there is one fruit fly in my office too! So what is the health benefit? It makes me smile and decreases my stress level at work. It is also a beautiful reminder to eat my fruits and veggies everyday! Check out the recipes on the website for some delicious ideas for adding fruits and veggies into your day.Okay, I need to be brutally honest...I actually crave vegetables!
