Almond Brown Rice- Toby's Favorite Rice

Join Toby as she prepares this ultra-quick dish to add rich flavor to plain brown rice. Rice is tricky for people with diabetes- only 1/3 cup carries 15 grams of carbohydrate. But, there's no need to run away screaming- the nutrients we get from this whole grain are impressive. One important note- the nutrient benefit is lost when brown rice is processed into white rice.
